Legal Experience

Kenneth G. Gale has twenty-nine years experience representing individuals, businesses and governmental entities before the Kansas state and federal courts, administrative agencies, the Kansas Supreme Court and Court of Appeals, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces and the United States Supreme Court.  Ken’s practice focuses on litigation in the areas of real estate, business disputes and employment.  His real estate practice includes resolution of disputes concerning boundary and title, broker and agent liability, title insurance, and real estate contracts.  Ken helps clients pursue the timely, economical and just resolution of disputes through negotiation, mediation, arbitration and litigation.

Ken is the author of the Broker Liability Chapter of the Kansas Bar Association’s Real Estate Practice and Procedure Handbook.  He has been named to Super Lawyers 2009, and Best Lawyers in America. He has presented numerous seminars to attorneys, human resources professionals, and real estate professionals in the areas of Real Estate Transactions, Boundary and Title Law, Title Insurance, Civil Litigation, Attorney Ethics, Real Estate Broker Liability and Employment Law.

Ken is a retired Kansas National Guard Colonel, and from 2001 to 2008 served as The Judge Advocate General of the Kansas National Guard.  In 2005 Ken served in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.   A native of Portales, New Mexico, Ken previously practiced with the law firms of Matlack & Foote, and Focht, Hughey & Calvert before joining Adams Jones in 1998.
