Ian’s expertise involves intellectual property of all varieties, estate planning and administration, real estate transactions and disputes, business, and more.

From Leon, Kansas, Ian went to the Ohio State University for his bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering, then Washburn University School of Law for his juris doctorate. He served on the board of the Washburn Law Journal and competed on the moot court team, and completed a variety of internships. Ian’s breadth of legal and technical knowledge makes him well suited to navigate his clients’ unique and challenging situations. He has helped clients register their businesses with administrative agencies, set up trusts to provide for their children’s and grandchildren’s futures, and secure favorable outcomes in civil litigation, among other work.

Outside of the office, Ian enjoys the outdoors, basketball, and board games.
